Mortice and Tenon Double Gates Overview

A mortice and tenon construction provides a sturdy and hard-wearing single gate, built from Swedish Redwood and designed for regular use. It's clad with either Feather Edge, Open Pale or Palisade boards and is pressure treated against fungal decay.

Construction
With a strong, mortice and tenon construction throughout and tanalising treatment as standard, these gates are ideal for most general purposes. The gates are manufactured from Swedish redwood to the customer's specific requirements.
Sizing
This gate comes in a variety of heights with widths ranging from 1.2m to 2.1m

We strongly advise you use Hook and Band or Adjustable Hook and Band hinges with this gate. Using T-hinges potentially adds unnecessary strain to the gate and will shorten its lifespan dramatically.

We recommend the following size posts:
3.0m gates = 200mm x 200mm post
2.4m - 2.7m gates = 175mm x 175mm post
1.8m - 2.1m gates = 150mm x 150mm post
0.9m - 1.5m gates = 125mm x 125mm post
