Ledge and Brace Double Gates Overview

A ledge and brace construction is an ideal, cost-effective single gate, built from Swedish Redwood. It's clad with either Feather Edge, Open Pale or Palisade boards and is pressure treated against fungal decay.

Construction
With a strong, ledge and brace construction throughout and tanalising treatment as standard, these sturdy gates are ideal for most general purposes. The gates are manufactured from Swedish redwood to the customer's specific requirements.
Sizing
This double gate comes in a range of heights, with widths ranging from a 1.8m gate, to 2.4m

Jointing - Ledge and Brace
Finishes and preservatives - Tanalised.

We strongly advise you use Hook and Band or Adjustable Hook and Band hinges with this gate. Using T-hinges potentially adds unnecessary strain to the gate and will shorten its lifespan dramatically.

We recommend the following size posts:
1.8m - 2.1m gates = 150mm x 150mm post
0.9m - 1.5m gates = 125mm x 125mm post
